There have been many reports recently that some sunscreens are ineffective and in some cases dangerous, this mineral based sunscreen from Babyganics made the safest list and is at my local drugstore. For a complete list of the safest sunscreens go here. One thing's for sure, all beach gear for babies should include sunscreen.
With its easy portability and set up the Lotus is perfect to take anywhere, including the beach, when you add the sunshade baby has a place to rest or play out of the sun. A great addition to your baby beach gear. I like to set up with the side unzipped next to the play mat so baby can easily get in and out.
