My kids love collecting leaves every fall, I have a small box where I let them put all their gifts for me. Instead of eventually throwing away all the pinecones, rocks and leaves I get over the course of the year I try to find ways to use the items in craft projects, or leaf art for toddlers.
This year we took some of the leaves they collected and used them to create 'leaf-critters'. My kids had a blast making these and they were very easy to make. Just leaves, glue, a marker and some googly eyes are all you need for this easy leaf art for children.
