What's in my Diaper Bag

Recently I have had a lot of friends who are first time moms ask me what I carry around in my diaper bag, so I thought I would share with all of you what to put in a diaper bag. As the mom of a toddler and preschooler here is a quick list of what diaper bag supplies I carry in my diaper bag.

Diaper Bag - Timi and Leslie Charlie Bag in Teal, $159.99

I love this diaper bag! It is so cute I know I will be be using after the kids outgrow the diaper bag stage, and the size and compartments make it perfect for carrying around their daily essentials.

1. Sippy Cup - Lollaland Lollacup in Brave Blue, $16

As a mom of 2 I usually have 2 of these in the bag at all times, usually empty so I don't have any spills. When we are out and they get thirsty I usually fill with water from a water fountain.

2. Wipes - Johnson's Hand and Face Wipes, $2.49

We are currently potty training my youngest so I don't have to carry around as many wipes as I did before, but these are great for cleaning hands and faces after a messy meal. Definitely important when considering what to put in a diaper bag.

3. Fruit Pouch - Ella's Kitchen Fruit Smoothie

4. Diapers - Honest Company Diapers

As I stated before we are currently potty training my youngest, but I still like to have some diapers on hand in case he has an accident.

5. Bib - Bumkins SuperBib, $6.95

This bib is great because it is wipeable and has a pocket for catching food.

6. Diaper Rash Cream - Honest Company Diaper Rash Cream, $9.95

7. First Aid Kit - Medi Buddy First Aid Kit to Go, $4.99

With 2 boys this is a must, I will also add a few extra band aids to the kit to be safe. Diaper bag supplies should always include a first aid kit.

8. Toy - Green Toys Twist Teether, $10.99

This is an older toy from the baby years, but still does the trick of keeping them entertained in the car or when we are waiting somewhere. While they would prefer to play with cars, this is a much quitter and safer option. The race cars tend to go airborne and any play with the cars comes with very loud sound effects.

9. Snack Container - Boon Snack Ball, $7.49

LOVE this snack container! Keeps the food from getting smashed and in a pinch can serve as a ball for my kids to roll back and forth to each other.

10. Socks

Socks for mom and kids are great to keep in your diaper bag supplies if you like to go to classes or play centers together.

What is on your diaper bag essentials list? Is your idea of what to put in a diaper bag different?
