We are adventurers. We are Seekers. We love to travel, and we love to play. We love to create memories and thrive on experiences. All of these are a precious part of our personal narrative. And now we have a new baby, the new most precious thing in our lives.

Can we combine this new experience of parenthood, with that lifestyle of the past? Can we wrap these experiences around our new baby, and continue together, as a family? With the right products, we can.

Guava Family was born in 2008 to enable freedom.

We set out to create a portable crib that could help us achieve this kind of new lifestyle together. We started by stepping back, watching, and listening. We spoke with family members, friends, and parents from all over the country. We created prototype after prototype, and then started over again.

Eventually we learned a few things. Here is what you wanted:

A portable crib should be light and compact so it’s ultra-portable, and so you can carry it hands-free. It should be safe. It should be a soft, protective area, but still strong, rigid, and sturdy. It should be easy to setup, and just as easy to take down. It should also be fun and inviting for your children. After-all, it is they who spend time in it, not you.
